Jack O'Lantern has appeared in several incarnations over the years, dating all the way back to 1981 when the mercenary first appeared in Machine Man #19.

Depending on which version of Jack O'Lantern you're talking about, he can sometimes have no superpowers, but using high-tech weaponary, to having a demon grafted to him, which gives him superhuman strength, speed, and agility, as well as hellfire powers enabling him to create weapons and gliders at will.
