Little did May Parker (Spider-Man's daughter) know, but the Green Goblin himself, Norman Osborn has her cloned when she was first born. This clone would go on to name herself "April", and thus Mayhem was born.

Mayhem possesses all of May Parker's abilities, including superhuman strength, speed, agility and durability. She also has a "spider-sense" that warns her of impending danger, much like our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
